Starting Fitness For Men Over 50 – Bodyweight Exercises – Weight Lifting – Cardio

Exercise is a great way to keep your immune system healthy. With various diseases running about, it is a good idea to make sure your lifestyle does not harm your immune system. For men over 50, in particular those who have not kept in good shape for quite some time, knowing what to do for a workout and how often to do it can be very confusing. Most of the men’s health magazines do not help much as they tend to be marketed to men in the 30s. Fear not, help has arrived. From calisthenics and bodyweight leg workouts, fitness over 50 can be straight forward.

Channel Dad Bryon Lape reads an articles from Get Pocket by Abigail Barronian. In her article, she quotes Cross Fit specialists Matt Swift and Matt Owen. Listen and read along to see what to do for getting into the best shape of your life and recharging your immune system.

Being healthy is a topic on everyone’s mind these days. Every person is a bit different and will respond to new stimulus in a unique way. The two Matt’s give a good general recipe, allowing people to find what works for them the best. Don’t be afraid to try new exercises, routines, or ideas.

While many will find it hard to believe, Channel Dad Bryon Lape has read many issues of Muscle and Fitness Magazine. Now over 50, he has to be more careful than ever before and is learning more and more about men’s fitness over 50. Getting injured from lifting too much weight or using horrible form can result in being out for weeks instead of days. Recovery for men over 50 takes more time and exercises should be chosen to take recovery and building into account. Proper nutrition and proper sleep are also very important to help you reach your fitness goals.

With all the Matt’s in this article, one would be forgiven to read Matt Smith over Matt Swift. Though a fan of Doctor Who, Channel Dad Bryon Lape did his best not to confuse the two. While listening to Bryon Lape read, did you hear him say Matt Smith? Bryon Lape has been known to read names incorrectly. Find the MCU cast video and listen to him say Morten Downey, Jr instead of Robert.

One of the ideas in the article is to start with high volume workouts. Depending on the exercise, these may be with low weights or just bodyweight. Think a bodyweight leg workout is easy? Go ahead and try. Doing sets of 50 bodyweight squats will really get the blood pumping. Want more ideas on bodyweight exercises? Take a look at Sydney Cummings’ channel. She has many workouts that are bodyweight and HIIT oriented. Take a look and get some ideas to try. Here’s the link to Sydney Cummings’ channel.

Channel Dad Bryon Lape reads an article by Dana Santas on CNN. She is a certified strength and conditioning specialist, registered yoga teacher, and mind-body coach. Dana Santas also has YouTube channel called MobilityMaker. See the link below.

Get up and do some stretches. Your back and hips will love you for it. Good for your health too. Sitting too much can cause lower back pain and perhaps in an extreme case, restless leg syndrome (ok, not really). Physical therapy is something that can be done at home. Dragon’s Milk Reserve: Raspberry Hibiscus Review

New Holland is known for some very good beers and ideas. The Dragon’s Milk stout has become a line of interesting crossovers and variants in its own right. The father/daughter dynamic duo of Brainmuffin and Kelloggs is back with another review. This time Kelloggs plunges into the dark depths of the Raspberry Hibiscus version of Dragon’s Milk Reserve. How will it go?

Channel Dad Bryon Lape is not only a reviewer of craft beer, he is also a home brewer. Be sure to check out his videos on home brewing.

The Brainmuffin beer reviews are getting better and Kelloggs is showing up more and more. Should they be renamed the Brainmuffin and Kelloggs reviews? The pair does review more than just beer. Check out the Kelloggs soju review as well.

St. Louis County Sues House Of Pain

The political nonsense of the Democratic Party seems to know no bounds. With the governors of several states trying to out do one another in the tyranny Olympics, St. Louis County Executive Director Sam Page has decided to sue the House of Pain gyms around St. Louis. The business is hurting and they opened back up to members. The gym had been open on a limited bases to police and fire fighters. Staying in shape helps the immune system. Working out is one of the best things to do.

Channel Dad Bryon Lape reads an article the Gateway Pundit with the latest information and quotes from Chris McDonough, attorney for the House of Pain. Sam Page has pulled ahead in the douche bag Olympics. Who will win?

Why The Sequel Trilogy Is My Favorite Era – Ben Travis

The Disney Sequel Star Wars trilogy has divided the fan base and told the never ending story of a brown haired Mary Sue. The Sequel Trilogy lead to the creation of the Fandom Menace, in particular when the Last Jedi came out. Many fans are divided in whether J. J. Abrams and Rian Johnson made the best Disney Star Wars movies. There are very few who like them all. Enter Ben Travis.

Channel Dad Bryon Lape reads the article by Ben Travis on Empire Online. Ben did not see the Original Trilogy in the theaters and has some like for the Prequel Trilogy. Ben Travis enjoyed the Sequel Trilogy theater experience and not knowing what was going to happen next. The Disney Star Wars Sequel Trilogy was Ben Travis’ favorite era. Yeah, his favorite of all the trilogies. Can you believe it? Do you agree?

Jeremy of Geeks + Gamers loves to rant, usually about Star Wars and Lucasfilm. Channel Dad Bryon Lape is a founding member of The Fandom Menace, so why doesn’t he rant more? He personally knows Jeff of World Class Bullshitters and has recorded videos with him. Bryon Lape also knows the other members of the World Class Bullshitters and brought the fans together to create the podcast called The Fan Caste. He is older than Uncle Ethan as well. So why not rant more?

Ranting is negative energy and all it brings is more negativity. Jeremy may grow the Geeks and Gamers channel with his style and that is good for him. Jeff takes a more middle of the road approach with the World Class Bullshitters, but it is his factual toy videos, in particular the Star Wars toys, that has made his channel grow quite well. Channel Dad Bryon Lape takes a more positive approach to his channel and covers items that interest him. This does include Star Wars, the MCU, and other Pop Culture items, but it is not limited to that realm. Bryon Lape is also interested in Fitness, Health, Photography, Computer Generated Images (check out his DAZ Studio attempts….and yes, he is learning Blender), and Beer (craft beer and making beer). That is why his channel is varied.

But why the name “Channel Dad”? Why does Bryon Lape use that so much that he renamed his channel to reflect it? That is a most excellent question. When he decided to create a Blue Ocean Strategy for his channel, Bryon Lape decided to connect people and ideas. Though he does interviews from time to time, it is not a main thrust of his channel. Finding people with different ideas and connecting them with others is what he does best. The connecting is a talent Bryon Lape has had for years. When Jeff Hicks of the World Class Bullshitters gave him the title of “Channel Dad,” it was due to him driving the group to various events and connecting them with others.

The Blue Ocean Strategy that Bryon Lape creates gives a more balanced approach to various pop culture events, even as Jeremy of Geeks + Gamers rants. Jeremy’s energy is balanced by Channel Dad’s moderated approach, giving members of the Fandom Menace a scale upon which to measure their own impressions. This is obvious from his Star Wars, DCEU, and MCU videos, but what about all the other stuff??

The Beer reviews are popular with World Class Bullshitters fans, in particular the ones in which Jeff Hicks appears. The two more watched reviews have Jeff and Kendo Slice joins in one of them. Want to see the various members of the World Class Bullshitters in more videos like this? If so, asking Jeff will not get it done as that is not the type of content he creates for his channel. Such content can only be recorded by Channel Dad Bryon Lape and released on his channel. It is only on the Bryon Lape channel that such desperate content can be created.

Very well, but what of Jeremy of Geeks and Gamers? Though he likes fitness, Channel Dad Bryon Lape is not really into watching sports, so perhaps the two of them can make Yoohoo! reviews. On the other hand, it may make since for Channel Dad and Geeks + Gamers to debate the further implications of the downfall of Pop Culture.

Dear viewer, it is all in your hands. Leave comments of other videos for them to make content with Channel Dad Bryon Lape of the Fandom Menace. Others have various positions with the incredible and diverse group that is the Fandom Menace. But through it all, there is only one Channel Dad Bryon Lape of the Fandom Menace.

Paulaner Spezi Review

The Brainmuffin beer review recently expanded with soju. Now they expand a bit more and review a soda. Not just any soda, but one from Germany made by Paulaner. Enter Spezi into the archive of reviews. Joining Channel Dad Bryon Lape is his daughter Kelloggs. He had the drink Spezi as a youth growing up in Germany, but Kelloggs has never had it. Will she like it as much a Schnurmann?

Paulaner is a brewery of good German beers. Do they also make a good Spezi? Will Radlers be next on the list of drinks to try?

Channel Dad Bryon Lape purchased the Paulaner Spezi from Jungle Jim’s International Market in Fairfield, Ohio. The selection of goods from all over the world is something both Brainmuffin and Kelloggs have enjoyed for years. Being able to try things from all over the world without having a passport is an incredible privilege they both pursue.

First Looks Of Baby Yoda In Mandalorian Season 2

On Disney+, the show the Mandalorian is a hit and the Star Wars fans love it. Among the characters, the most popular is Baby Yoda. Yeah, that’s not his real name, but that’s what all the Star Wars fans call him.

Robert Rodriguez is the director for season two of the Mandalorian and he has released a single photo of himself and the Baby Yoda muppet for season two. The fans have freaked!

Channel Dad Bryon Lape reads and shows an article from Digital Spy written by Rianne Houghton with what few details we know. Want to read the source article? Here it is:

Does anyone know if Anna That Star Wars Girl has covered the new Baby Yoda yet? Surely she has the toys and has a Baby Yoda video out every day.

Cellucor C4 Original Review

Looking over the list of supplement reviews Bryon Lape has recorded over the years one will see there are few from Cellucor. The brand is popular, but not usually the best quality or is it? Time for a review?

Channel Dad Bryon Lape does an empty container review for the Cellucor C4 Original formula. This is the one that gets forgotten quite often. It is one of the longest made pre-workouts on the market in the supplement isle and some might argue it was the one that started this whole trend. Did Channel Dad find it to be of any value?

Watch and see.

Doctor Strange Director Scott Derrickson Says Current World Is An Incorrect Outcome

In the movie Avengers: Endgame, Benedict Cumberbatch’s Doctor Strange uses the Time Stone to look at over 14 million possible combinations for fighting Thanos. In all of those, he sees only one way for the Avengers to win. With the world in a crisis, Ben Schwartz took to twitter to ask which of those outcomes are we in. Scott Derrickson responded: 8675309, a reference to Jenny’s phone number.

Channel Dad Bryon Lape reads an article Humza Hussain on the Screen Rant website telling of the exchange between Ben Schwartz and Scott Derrickson. Don’t worry, he doesn’t understand the reference during the reading of the article.

Balancing Running And Strength Training

Many people think strength training and endurance training are completely different and incompatible, in particular with regard to running. This isn’t true, but a balance between the two types of training need to be balanced. What are the guidelines to determining what to do and when?

Channel Dad Bryon Lape reads an article by Danielle Zickl on the Runner’s World website. She gives some information from a team of doctors lead by Kenji Doma, Ph. D, who reviewed nearly 100 studies to figure out how to balance leg day with running. Use this information as a starting point and adjust based on your fitness goals, nutritional needs, daily schedule, and body recovery ability. Remember everyone is a little different.
