The Snap Chick! Also known as Leigh. She does anythings. She does videos of her in a bikini. She does videos of her camping. She also has an amazing video on teaching all the ends and outs of depth of field. She is an amazing woman!

Now, she’s teamed up with Raymond on a new video series called Coffee and Cameras. Yes, it is new. Yes, it is rough. Yes, it need some development. But who cares. It is a great idea!

Did I mention she review a Linux computer?

The duo is figuring out their style and voice. It is awesome to watch this idea develop. Over the coming weeks, we the viewers will watch as the idea flowers and unfolds, as they find their voice, as they share themselves with us. It will be awesome.

The Coming Mitt Romney Presidency

It is the night before elections in America. According to the polls, it is anyone’s guess who will win. The polls claim it is all even. The polls are crap.

Look under the covers of these polls and you will find a telling story. They are cooked. Democrats are oversampled in such high numbers, higher than any real election, to make Obama look as good as possible. It is meant to keep Republicans at home thinking all is lost. What it really does is create an expectation with the dependent class that their slave master will win. When this does not happen, it is sure to bring about rioting in the streets.

The presidency of Mitt Romney will win. He has the momentum. He has the ground level support. Many long-time Democrats, the working class people of America, are chanting anyone but Obama. The presidency is his to lose.

Though many Republicans will cheer a Romney victory, the fact that Liberty will die a little more will be lost on them. They see themselves winning as a good thing. For America and Liberty, it matters little, unless by some stroke of incredible luck Gary Johnson should win. America was founded on the ideals of Personal Liberty and Opportunity. Neither major candidate embraces these ideals. Obama is a Marxist. Romney is a Social Democrat.

Once the results are known (I’m doubtful we will know for weeks after Obama and his ilk sue), I will breath a slight sigh of relief knowing Liberty will die a little slower. But after all the cheering and shouting, I’ll feel sad that more Freedoms will still be taken away.

Where is Gregg Davison?

Rescue for Your Business
Rescue for Your Business (Photo credit: Zavarykin Sergey)

I first met Gregg Davison over the phone. He was living in the Cayman Islands and loving life. He was talking to me about CarbonCopy Pro, a business opportunity I had heard about during a commercial break on the Rush Limbaugh radio show. I was intrigued. I had to find out more. I went to the website and eventually signed up at the Gold Level.

The calls with Gregg happened each week. I was given some assignments and things to do. I went through the back office. I went through the tutorials. The online marketing education CarbonCopy Pro has is massive. Almost too much to absorb. Gregg said to register a domain with your name in it. I chose several. Eventually I had getrichwithbryon and both the .net and .com versions of bryonlape. The sites were out there, leads came in.

I finally met Gregg Davison face to face in Phoenix, Arizona at the Master Marketing Event. He was energetic. He showed interest in people. He gave them guidance and leadership. That weekend was phenomenal. How exciting to be in business.

A couple of months later, Gregg and his business partners Andrew Cass and Michael Force held a weekend training retreat in Miami. It is amazing how inexpensive hotels can be in Miami, Florida in July when few people are there. The training was intense and close up. On Monday, several of us on Gregg’s team were in his room for “A Day In The Office With Gregg Davison”. It was worth the extra time and money. All of us stayed as long as we could and eventually made our way toward our respective homes.

That was mid 2011.

A few months later, Gregg stopped being on the calls. He stopped holding team training sessions on Saturdays. A bit before he stopped talking about his lovely wife Christina. Something was up. No one knew what. Then, he was gone.

Peter Hobler, his business manager stopped hearing from him. The marketing partners Andrew and Michael didn’t hear from him either. Neither Jay Kubassek nor Justin Woolf knew anything about what was going on. Gregg Davison seemed to have disappeared.

Those of us on Gregg’s team were first moved under Micheal Force. Several months later, as the marketing leaders started to leave Pro U (CarbonCopy Pro’s new name), the team was moved again to be under Justin Woolf. Still no word from Gregg.

Gregg’s Facebook page became stale. A picture of him holding his nephew was posted by his sister. No status changes. No location changes. Nothing.

One day Justin saw Gregg come on-line and was able to chat with him a bit. Gregg was back to being in his mother’s basement. Back in England. Back to where it started. But what was Gregg doing? No one seems to know.

Gregg Davison is still out there. He’s voice is no doubt being heard by someone. He is not part of Empower Network. He is not part of Pro U. He is not part of RemarkaMobile.

Real Friends Have Anal Sex

Freedom
Freedom (Photo credit: Moyan_Brenn_BE_BACK_on_10th_OCT)

Now that I have your attention.

As I am not busy enough, I blog in several spots. On my WordPress blog, I posted a story about a friend of mine and the tactics she was thinking of employing to get leads for her business. I helped her see what manner of leads she would most likely get and showed her a different path. Time will tell if she will stick to it.

Marketing is an art. Marketing is a science. Many people complain about too many advertisements here and there. Fact is, the ads are there because they are effective. Marketers don’t have endless barrels of money. They must get results or they will try something else. Often times, a well researched campaign will fall flat while something wild and spontaneous will have roaring success. Each effort is measured against the business it brings in. Much returned, campaign continues. Nothing returned, campaign is stopped.

Nearly two years ago I started down a new path with Carbon Copy Pro. Gregg Davison was my sponsor and a whole new world was opened to me. I have never been the same. I have stopped accepting mediocrity and strive to do better. When I find myself in ruts, I really get annoyed and look for ways out.

I also have little patience for those who choose, no want, to stay in their ruts. Those who are able bodied and have their hands out annoy me the most. America is not there to guarantee you a color television and a cell phone. It isn’t there to guarantee you a job. It is there to guarantee your Liberty. Take it and live free.

Yeah, so what? What about anal sex?

Though some may have been turned off by the terms so far, living in Liberty has much in common with anal sex. Very few practice it and the few who do feel liberated. They more one lives in Liberty, the more one wants. Same as anal sex. Many are scared by Liberty and feel it unnecessary in a country whose government is providing everything. After all, there are other less painful sexual practices, anal isn’t needed.

Yes, the analogy does start to break down. But living in Liberty is about breaking down constraints. Breaking down walls. Striving in your own business is about finding your way in Liberty. Perhaps my friend was right, it is also about enjoying anal sex.

Good Content Makes For Good Conversation

Girl with smirk
Girl with smirk (Photo credit: BrainMuffin)

My marketing mentor Gregg Davison is found of many phrases. Many would be quick to recite his “It is always sunny when you are making money” quip. He is also keen on another important phrase when it comes to successful marketing “Content is King”.

There are many blogs out there on the Internet. Many of the are popular and do bring in some money for their creators. Many of them bring in no one and don’t make a penny. Why? Simple: bad content.

Creating good content is more than bringing up the Google adword tool and finding good keywords to use. Sure, if you want trying to sell a business opportunity about making money on the Internet, the usual advice is to look for those keywords and get them into your content. Gurus will tell you that your content should have somewhere between 3-5% of your “making money” keywords so that Google will like your content and rank it high. When it comes to a phrase like “Making money on the Internet,” how many websites could Google possibly place on the first page? Exactly.

Having a good blog that attracts readers is more than just good use of keywords in your content. The content itself needs to be good. You want to attract readers. You want them to return. You need to find you niche.

Finding your niche is about your story. Who are you? What are your interests? Forget about the awesome Internet money making opportunity you have and tell the readers more of you. They want to believe they know you, so tell them. Don’t let every article be on some new marketing technique you learned on the previous night’s call with Jay Kubassek.

Here’s a great for instance. A classmate of mine from college has her own blog. Always wanting to keep a few extra pounds off, she embraced her struggles and shares her story. The result? She attracts like minded individuals who are looking to achieve results. Her readers like that she is not trying to use the blog to hawk particular products, so they see her openness and candor as refreshing. They also celebrate each others victories. That is what blogging is about! Take hold and triumph!

The Depression of Barack Obama

A depressed man sitting on a bench
A depressed man sitting on a bench (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

Barack Obama’s poor performance at the debate in Denver has been attributed to many things. Some blamed John Kerry for not preparing Barack well enough. Some pointed to the lack of a teleprompter to help convey his message. Others blamed Jim Lehrer and the debate format, usually ignoring that Barack received 4 extra minutes overall. Al Gore claimed it was the altitude and lack of adjustment to the lower oxygen levels. All of these are wrong.

Obama is depressed.

The year 2008 held so much promise. The real powers behind the throne chose Barack Obama to run for president, meeting with both him and Hilary Clinton to discuss the matter. The media, eager to defeat the Social Democrats, created a persona for Barack that didn’t exist. Could America get past its slavery roots and vote for a black man? Had change finally come?

Barack was easily able to hid his Marxist and anti-Colonial thoughts from the easily swayed. Many such as Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck and Sean Hannity cried out that this man was not what he seemed. It didn’t matter. Barack was a blank slate and anyone could paint their own version of the man and they did. It didn’t matter that all one had to do was listen. It didn’t matter about his pastor Jeremiah Wright. It didn’t matter he couldn’t prove his citizenship. All that mattered was defeating the Social Democrats in the Republican party. After all, John McCain had his own problems. After all, John McCain was born in Panama. After all, voting against Barack was racist.

Obama was swept into power with unemployment on the rise and gas prices falling. He had both houses of Congress. He had the Supreme Court. He had total control. It was time to do what he came for. It was time to “fundamentally transform America” into the Marxist state of which he had dreamed for so long. He appointed Tsars to oversee aspects of the transfer. He didn’t consult with Congress. He didn’t get a budget passed. He just spent money.

Glenn Beck showed time after time what Barack was doing. He showed how Barack was building a second system and would work to collapse the current one into it. The dollar fell in value. Other world currencies started to have problems. Greece started to catch fire. There was talk of removing the dollar as the World Currency. It was all going to plan. Then it paused.

The 2010 elections saw the Marxists lose too much power in Congress. Barack started to use Executive Orders when he didn’t get his way. Harry Reid held up bills in the Senate that would help to improve the economy. Surely they could still make it collapse. After all, Europe was ok and China was growing. Gas prices were climbing and so was unemployment. After all, Obama was spending more than a trillion dollars in debt each  year. Surely it would collapse. Alas….

Europe started to really catch fire. Riots in Greece spilled over into Spain, Italy, France, the Netherlands and England. China’s growth, fake as it was, paused. Bernanke tried a QE 2 and eventually created QE infinity. Dollars are being printed at record pace. Japan and China keep outdoing each other in buying US bonds. The US government is in so much debt it can never repay. Surely it will all collapse! Surely Germany cannot save the world!

Obama’s approval ratings during all this fell to all time lows. The media tried desperately to recreate the myth. People had to know that disliking Obama was racist. He killed the Somali pirates. He killed Osama bin Laden. Obama is a hero, people!

By mid 2012, Obama realized his dream was not going to happen. More and more truth about him surfaced. The crowds of cheering fans are gone. Wisconsin went Republican for a governor, despite an out-of-state campaign to get him recalled. The Social Democrats were coming back to power. They don’t want a Marxist state, just a country they can control. Sarah Palin continued to grow in popularity. The Conservatives won a few here and there. Even the Libertarians feel good. All is not well is Barry’s world.

Obama has been showing signs of depression for several months now. His delivery is listless and he acts as though the doesn’t want to be President. He doesn’t. By now, the system was supposed to have collapsed. By now, he was supposed to have total authority. His minions try. The TSA becomes more brutal every day. The borders are wide open and the citizens are treated like cattle. Fast and Furious didn’t lead to mass call for oppressive gun control. The Social Democrats don’t have the backbone to jail Eric Holder. Obama’s dream is in limbo and the tide is starting to turn.

The citizens of America are starting to wake up. The rank and file Republicans are more jazzed for this election than in many years gone by. Mitt Romney, despite his “going through the motion” attitude is pulling way ahead and he is emerging as wanting to be President. The tide is turning.

Yet Barry still stands, though he wants to sit. There are talks of his inability to debate. The excuse machine is running full tilt. Hilary will not step in as she wants 2016. Joe Biden will not step in as he is without clue. Poor Barack. So tired. So wanting total control. So wanting to destroy America and make it pay for the sins it has inflicted on the World. Time is running out. Ben cannot spend fake money quickly enough. The Banks know the tide is turning. Wall Street money is leaving him.

If only. If only some Americans didn’t love Liberty. If only the understood the evil America is. Perhaps then, they would let Barry be in full control. He doesn’t want to be President. He wants to be Dictator. And it is the fault of Americans that he will not. Barack Obama is depressed.

An Ode to Old Friends

There have been many dogs in my life. Each brought a different kind of joy to us. Some

Maggie Dog

were great companions who loved to go on adventures. Others played with us. Others did tricks. And others stayed by our side to the end.

Jenny was a black poodle. She came to us not long before my dad was sent to Germany by the US Army. We left for Karlsruhe in 1972 and Jenny went to live with my mother’s parents. I don’t remember Jenny at that time. I do remember her when she returned in 1975 with our move to Knoxville, Tennessee.

While in Germany, the last year we had a dog named Whiskers. He was brought up by two GI’s  and his real name was Damnit. He was good fun, though he hated Germans. Quite odd given where he lived. When we moved back to the States, we gave him to another family staying in country.

Back in Tennessee, Jenny was a great dog for 7 year old. She loved to play ball and was the outfield. She would catch the ball and return it to the pitcher. Good luck getting a hit. In 1978 though, she started to go blind and had to eventually be put down.

Buffy though, overlapped with Jenny about a year. A stray that followed my brother home, he became a dog who would protect us from other dogs. When we bred Jenny, he cared for the puppies as if they were his. He did have a wild spirit and we went to live with our grandfather in Ohio in 1979 when we moved to Fort Belvoir. About six months later, he ran off and never returned.

One of our best dogs was Adam. In the summer of 1982 while visiting friends at Fort Belvoir, my mom and I met Adam. They were keeping him for a friend of theirs and were looking for a good home. He was an Irish Setter/Golden Retriever mix and mild of temper. That day, he made the trip back to Fort Ritchie with us and lived with us until he was very old and quite ill. He went with us to Stuttgart, Germany and then to Johnson Bible College. He loved to chase and loved people. At 15, it came his time to leave us and he is buried in the woods on top of the hill at Johnson.

Woofie (sometimes Wolfie) was the first dog my wife and I had. We rescued her from the pound in 1992 at Knoxville. She was a great apartment dog and very smart. We made a donation to the shelter and received free beginner level obedience lessons. She learned to take items from either of us and give to the other. She would bring her water bowl when it was empty and could go off the leash quite well. We rented a house from my parents in 1995 and in 1996 she and Jake got out of the fenced in backyard. He made it back, she did not. We found her on the side of the road and buried her in the side. After all these years, I still miss her.

About a year before we moved out of the apartment, some people we knew at the University of Tennessee had a stray that wanted to find a home for. Jake was a mutt with a purple tongue. We kept him for a few days and eventually gave him to my brother. Jake was a bit of a wild dog, being part chow, and when younger didn’t like to be hemmed in. When my brother took a job in Canton, Ohio and lived in an apartment that allowed no pets, Jake stayed with us in the house. He liked to dig and get out. For a long time, only he got out, but eventually Woofie joined him. I was too slow getting the fence repaired with rebar and Woofie got killed. In late 1997, we moved to Marion, Ohio and Jake went to live with the in-laws in Richmound, Virginia. There he dug big holes, went through the glass panel on a storm door and got into neighbors’ trash. The last few years of his life he was more tame and his best friend was the cat who lived up the street. Poppop buried him in the holes he dug out back.

Maggie. What can be said about Maggie. She was a large, white dog and very gentle. She came to us about a year about Woofie died. When we had children, she let them play with her, climb on her and pull her tail. Many times it seemed she treated them like they were her puppies. Though she looked like a white retriever, she never chased anything not edible. She did not chase sticks, balls, toys, etc. She was very kind to most people, especially women, and loved by many. She lived with us in Knoxville and Marion and our moved to Cincinnati. In mid 2011, her health started to fail. Eventually, she started to eat less, then nothing. The last week of her life was the most painful. Neighbors and friends alike cried when we had to put her down.

Snuggles is yet another stray dog (notice a theme???) who came up to us when we were out doing yard work in October 1995. She was with us when Woofie got killed. She and Jake were around before Maggie and she also went to live with the in-laws in 1997. In Christmas 2003, she came back to us as our son’s dog. She was a bit aggressive for a smaller dog and really loved to chase everything. Fast and nimble, she would chase frisbies, balls, sticks, everything. She would bark when Jake and Woofie would get out. She also loved to snuggle, hence her name. After Maggie was gone, she started to become listless and have less excitement. She obviously missed her friend. In the early spring of 2012, Toby came into our life and Snuggles perked up. Nearing 17, her back became a problem and one night something happened. We are not sure, but the next day she could barely walk and I had to carry her to take her outside. She stopped eating everything, including treats, and shook a great deal. As painful as it was to say goodbye to another friend so shortly after Maggie, it was her time as well.

These friends completed us. They contributed to the value of our lives. As long as we remember them, they live on.

Stop Voting For Parties

It is the presidential election season in America again. Every four years, the parties come

1795 - 1823
1795 – 1823 (Photo credit: Wikipedia)

out and crap on each other. Every four years people complain about it. Yet, every four years they elect some talking head from the Elephants or the Jackasses. Enough!

When I was in high school, I could not understand why anyone would ever vote for a Democrat. Their policies kept the poor in their place and crippled everyone else. I remembered the Carter years of high fuel prices, high unemployment, high interest rates and high misery. Why would anyone vote to return to that mess? Both Clinton and Obama are more of a Statist than Jimmy Carter, so why did they win?

As I learned more about liberty and the founding of the nation, I wondered why anyone would ever vote for a Republican. After all, with the exception of Reagan, most Republicans are approved by the establishment and are Progressives. Sure, they tend to be to the right of the Marxist Obama, but they are a mix of Fascist and Social Democrat. They take away freedoms and Liberty same as the Democrats. Why would anyone want that?

America was founded on the ideals of Liberty and Limited Government. The Government was to exist at the Will of the People. Not the other way around. The Progressives of both parties have lead the country down the road to total tyranny. They now control the education system in America to keep the populace ignorant and wanting more Government control. It is sad.

In his Farewell Speech to the Nation, George Washington warned about political parties. He belonged to none and is the only President to be so. He was very correct on the parties warring against one another, though I am highly doubtful he foresaw the mess we have today.

Anyone who votes for an Elephant or a Jackass has no room to complain. Want real change in American politics? Vote for someone in a different party.

Welcome to everyone

What a week this has been! More people registered with the blog this past week than ever

Pedaling Through the Past
Pedaling Through the Past (Photo credit: brizzle born and bred)

before. It would seem people are finding their way here and it is so much fun! Welcome to all the new people!

When I started this blog, the whole intent was to publish who I am so people could know and understand my story. This was going to be a means to making money. Marketing after all, is all about making relationships. How little did I know.

The journey over the last year plus has been an incredible one. I’ve started and closed an LLC. I’ve joined other programs. I’ve made many videos. I’ve learned much.

I’ve learned SEO is more an art than science. I’ve learned Premier Mentoring is a total scam. I’ve learned Marketing and getting results is hard. I’ve learned I love it all.

Normally, the postings on this blog have no I statements. Today this is being broken to show that behind this blog is a real person. A person with dreams and ideas and goals and wants and needs. A person with flesh and blood and a heartbeat. That is what makes this blog personal. That is the power.

Upcoming will be discussions on mobile marketing and getting your website ready for the mobile wave. Expecting users to pinch and expand to view your website is the past. More forward or get left behind.
